About Me

I am an ACE-certified personal trainer, a NASM-certified Performance Enhancement Specialist and a USAPL-certified Powerlifting Coach. I train out of the Pagosa Lakes Rec Center in beautiful Pagosa Springs, Colorado.

As a competitive raw powerlifter, I won the 2019 Regional Powerlifting Championship in the USAPL Raw 72kg weight class and I hold the Colorado State Deadlift record for the USAPL Raw 69kg eliminated weight class.

I am also an experienced youth fitness instructor and all-ages ski and snowboard instructor. I love fitness, powerlifting, snow sports and hiking with my dog. My positive attitude and judgement free approach will keep you feeling motivated and supported.

My Story

I moved to Colorado to feed my lifelong love of snowboarding, but I wasn’t naturally athletic. With no more sports and gym class to keep me moving after high school, I slowly started gaining weight and eventually became obese.

Unhealthy and unhappy, I lived a vicious cycle of failed attempts to lose weight. I was too self-conscious to enjoy the gym, and it was impossible for me to stick to a fitness routine. Each attempt to lose weight left me feeling even more defeated and angry with myself than before.

Eventually, I stopped using exercise as a punishment for my size and started seeing it as a celebration for what my body could do. I began enjoying myself and making lasting change. I lost the weight and gained so much (including a regional powerlifting title).

I am now passionate about helping other people find joy in movement and make lasting positive change.
